A quieter, more orderly experience for people preparing future-planning documents.
Lasting Powers began with a simple idea: preparing future-planning documents should not feel intimidating.
Eleanor Wade established the practice after supporting families with private-client paperwork and appointment administration. She wanted a quieter, more orderly experience for people who found future-planning documents intimidating.
Since then, the practice has grown carefully, strengthening the parts of the process that matter most to the families we help: clear preparation, careful review and well-organised appointments.
2019
Lasting Powers opens, concentrating on straightforward wills and the collection of instructions for lasting powers of attorney.
2020
The practice develops its document preparation and review, giving dedicated focus to getting each document right.
2022
Appointments, drafts and signing follow-up are brought together and organised, so each step from first conversation to completed document is looked after.

The practice has kept a deliberately limited scope. Rather than presenting every family situation as a standard document exercise, we have strengthened our referral arrangements for complex matters.
Where there are complex legal or capacity concerns, we refer you for appropriate specialist advice.
